Miniature Expressions Retail Location – COVID-19 Update: Re-opening / Online Orders
RETAIL STORE REOPEN
Florida has begun to ease restrictions on residents and businesses. Retail stores were given the greenlight to open back up on May 4th, with limitations on capacity.
Beginning Monday May 18th, Miniature Expressions will re-open the retail store to the public. These are new and uncertain times and we want to ensure the safety of our staff and customers. To create a safe shopping experience and help protect everyone’s health, we are implementing a few procedures:
--Florida recommends facemasks when in public spaces like stores, but it is not required. We would like to ask our customers to wear a facemask if you can. We are *not* requiring this. But if you do want to wear a facemask, and have forgotten yours or do not have one, we are offering free disposable masks for use during your visit.
--Florida will be limiting capacity to 50% in retail locations. We are going to be a little stricter. Our cute little store is small with tight spaces. Passing other customers without near contact is almost impossible. To that end, we will be limiting the number of people at any given time to 25% of our capacity. If we must ask you to wait outside, we are very sorry.
--We will be limiting interaction with our associates to distanced questions. We have a large checkout counter which offers some natural distance so we will be waiting there to immediately answer any question you have.
--Our associates will be wearing masks when interacting with customers. While you cannot see it, know they are giving you a broad smile when you walk in.
--We will be operating normal hours from 10-5 Monday thru Friday, and 10-4 on Saturdays (closed Sundays).
ONLINE ORDERS SHIPPING DELAYS
We are deeply sorry for those that have experienced longer than normal shipping periods. As everyone headed into safer-at-home mode, and retail stores were closing, we had not seen that would generate such a shift to online shopping. We maintain staffing levels based on experienced demand and projected growth. This has simply caught us off guard and we are working hard to minimize the impact on your orders.
Our existing shipping policy is for orders to be shipped within 1 – 3 business days from purchase. We continue to experience 4 – 5 in some cases. Please accept our apologies if your order has been impacted.
We are working hard to understand how the new norm will look as this health crisis is projected to last into next year with several waves.
